My 2011 Overland with 5.7 Hemi, will overheat sitting in traffic or a drive thru. The temp will climb up beyond 250, fan will not kick on until I put the trans into park. As soon as it do, the fan kicks on, spools up and temp drops, but fan will not start until I put into ColdCase. The V8 models have proven to be much less troublesome than the V6 models. Its the same 5.7 V8 thats used in RAMs and Dodge/Chrysler cars, although the exhaust manifolds are a bit more restrictive.
